![]() I rebooted the computer and tried again with the same result. When attempting to launch Firefox it would not load, Edge loaded without problems, however, none of the web pages would load. I then went into the Malwarebytes 3 settings and changed the default setting to "Never register Malwarebytes with the Windows Action Center." This fixed the issue of running two anti-viruses. Also, when accessing the Sophos Home Premium dashboard, it stated that running two anti-virus applications is not recommended and that I should remove Malwarebytes. When I checked the error message, it was indicating that I'm using two anti-virus programs which is not recommended. Immediately after installation I noticed that there was a red flag over the Windows Security Center icon in the tray. I went ahead and downloaded the free version of Malwarebytes 3 (v3.4.5) with the 14-day trial period enabled. But alot of times I look at the AV-Comparative site and know either of these 2 are very good for protection. Personally i use Kaspersky with MB premium. I'm familiar with Bitdefender and Defender as very good. Sophos & MB Premium, Bitdefender & MB Premium, or Windows Defender & MB Premium. ![]() I still have an active subscription for Bitdefender as well as a Premium license for Malwarebytes, so I'm open to any suggestions for a layered security combo i.e. I have in the past used Bitdefender Total Security 2018 with Malwarebytes 3.0 Premium without issues, however, web-pages took longer to load. Also, I'm planning on using this combo on my gaming PC so I want to keep performance impact to a minimum. I'm concerned about the overlap in features between my AV and Malwarebytes. It is my understanding that Sophos Home Premium has HitmanPro.Alert embedded in it which is an anti-malware application. I'm currently using Sophos Home Premium and want to know whether I can use Malwarebytes 3.0 Premium alongside it without conflict. ![]() If you are having licensing issues, please do the following: One of our experts will be able to assist you shortly.
